Re: Global Herbs Sarc-Ex (Futter)

In reply to your questions…
Can I add Sarc-Ex to the normal daily feed or do I have to reduce some parts (e.g. the mineral feed)?
Yes Sarc-Ex should be fed as part of a horses daily feeding regime and it works best if split between two feeds a day. It does not contain any essential daily vitamins or mineral as such, so no adjustments to their feed should be made.

Can Sarc-ex do any damage in case that our areas are just "nothing"?
If there are no underlying sarcoids on those areas, then Sarc-Ex will not cause any “flare up”. Sarc-Ex is not designed to do “damage” but it will strengthen the immune system and encourage the body to fight the sarcoids from the inside out, so you may find that as the body reacts to these immune herbs sarcoids may appear in areas that you were not expecting them to appear in.

Can Sarc-ex activate those areas in case they are sleeping sarcoids and make them worse?
Yes it could push out underlying sarcoids that were not visible on the surface. Sarc-Ex works on the whole body, not just on certain areas and you must be prepared for the sarcoids to get worse, before they get better. They may grow in size and look a bit sore, but this is the normal process and we always advise not be put off and to continue feeding Sarc-Ex, as this is the bodies way of rejecting the sarcoids.

Is Sarc-ex only for sarcoid-skin or also for other skin concerns?
Sarc-Ex will help to support the skin and the immune system, and it will not have any side effects if used long term. It is very kind to the body and we find it is good for general health and wellbeing. We generally only advise it to help with sarcoids and lump prone skin though.

Can Sarc-ex be given just preventive to strengthen the immune system?
Once the sarcoids have healed and gone, then you can safely continue to feed Sarc-Ex at a low level (for maintenance) to support the immune system and to prevent anymore sarcoids appearing in the future.
